This research aimed to enhance the learning motivation of students in
geography at SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto using the discovery learning model and
Quizizz media in the learning process. This is a Collaborative Classroom Action
Research (CAR), conducted collaboratively by the researcher as Observer 1, who
observed student activities during the learning process; the geography teacher of
class XI as a collaborator, observing the teacher's activities during the learning
process; and the geography teacher of class X, who acted as the executing teacher
of the action. Data collection techniques in this research involved observation,
interviews, and documentation.The data collection tools included observation
sheets for teacher and student activities and a student learning motivation
questionnaire. The student learning motivation questionnaire consisted of 30
questions with six indicators of student learning motivation. This research
demonstrated that Quizizz media could enhance students' learning motivation in
geography subjects. It was evidenced by the calculation of the student learning
motivation questionnaire, where the students' learning motivation increased from
the initial condition or before the research implementation, starting at 71.9% in
the high category, rising to 78.7% in Cycle I, and reaching 91.2% after the
implementation of the action in Cycle II, categorized as very high.
