This study aims to examine the effect of gender diversity of the board of
commissioners, educational background of the board of commissioners, gender
diversity of the board of directors, educational background of directors on the
company's financial performance. The population used in this study is Islamic
Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in
2017 - 2022. The sample in this study was 15 companies listed on the Financial
Services Authority which were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data
were taken using multiple linear regression. The results showed that (1) the
variable Gender Diversity of the Board of Commissioners has no effect on
financial performance, (2) the Commissioner's Educational Background has a
positive effect on financial performance, (3) Gender diversity of the board of
directors has a positive effect on financial performance, (4) Educational
Background of Directors has a negative effect on financial performance.
