This thesis aims to examine the effectiveness of Al-Qur'an learning with the
Iqra' method at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Ula. The Iqra' method is an
instructional approach that focuses on teaching Quranic recitation with proper
Tajwid techniques. The study is conducted to identify the advantages and
challenges faced by students and teachers in implementing the Iqra' method.
A qualitative approach with a case study design is employed for this research.
Data is collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers,
and questionnaires distributed to students. Descriptive analysis techniques are
used to illustrate the effectiveness of Al-Qur'an learning with the Iqra' method.
The findings reveal that Al-Qur'an learning with the Iqra' method at Madrasah
Diniyah Takmiliyah Ula has several advantages, such as improved Quranic
recitation skills with proper Tajwid and better understanding of the content of
Al-Qur'an. However, the research also uncovers some challenges, including
limited time available to teach all materials in detail and difficulties in adapting
the method for some students.
Based on these findings, the study concludes that the Iqra' method can be an
effective instructional approach for teaching Al-Qur'an at Madrasah Diniyah
Takmiliyah Ula. However, it is recommended for teachers to identify and
address the challenges that arise in implementing this method to maximize
students' learning outcomes.
