Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of online-based learning
during SFH (Study From Home) on grade V SD Negeri 1 Linggasari. This study
was motivated by the current condition of COVID-19 pandemic which has urged
the online learning process. Thus, the implementation of online learning requires
collaboration between classroom teachers and parents. This study aimed to
determine the implementation process of online-based learning, to reveal the role
of parents and classroom teachers and to find out obstacles in the process of SFH
on grade V SD Negeri 1 Linggasari. The type of research used was qualitative.
Participants in this study were teachers of grade V, 14 parents, and 13 students of
grade V. Data collection technique used semi-structured interviews. Data analysis
in this study used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the
parents contributed as motivator, facilitators and supervisor, while the teacher
contributed by mastering basic and additional knowledge, presenting material in a
creative way, having the ability to motivate students, managing online learning,
providing feedback, and emphasizing task completion time. The obstacles
encountered in online learning were students reluctance to make questions, the
inability of parents to provide the online devices, the lack of punctuality of
students in joining online class, internet data usage, and difficulty parents and
students to understand learning material.
