Technology is developing very rapidly so that it is possible in various fields including education. The curriculum used in PAUD Hj. Siti Fatimah Purwokerto Barat is Curriculum of 2013. The learning process uses conventional learning methods while 2-legged animals and 4-legged animals are difficult to study due to limited environmental factors, requiring a lot of money to go to the zoo. Therefore, a learning media application was developed using Android-based Augmented Reality. This application was built as a tool in the learning process activities to help students understand more animals and feel interested and not bored. The research method uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Based on trials on PAUD teachers Hj. Siti Fatimah Purwokerto Barat, Augmented Reality-based Learning Media Application for Animal Recognition runs smoothly on Android smartphones.
