Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of job training and compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Ananda Purwokerto General Hospital (RSU) except Doctors, Directors and Managers. The sample of this research is 105 employees with the selection technique using the technique quota sampling with the proportional method. To be tested statistics and data processing is done using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that: 1) job training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 2) compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 3) job training has a not significant positive effect on employee performance, 4) compensation has an insignificant positive effect on performance employees, 5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 6) job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of job training on employee performance, 7) job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance. The results of the fit model test show that the NFI value is 68.9% fit. The test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the effect of job training, compensation, and job satisfaction on employee performance is 67.7%.
