This study aims to describe the types of language variety, mixed in the speech events of the kolong pigeon hobbyists in the Kalibagor District, Banyumas Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The majority of the methods used in collecting research data are recording, observing and note-taking methods. The data analysis method in this study begins with describing the data in the form of recorded conversation data in the field, the next process is data identification, and finally data reduction is carried out. The validity of the data was obtained from the triangulation process using the technique of triangulation of data sources, observers and theories. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that there are 6 types of dialect, social, casual, vulgar, business and jargon. The factors that cause the occurrence of these language variety events are (1) time factor, (2) place factors, (3) sociocultural factors, (4) factors attracting the attention of buyers, (5) situational factors, (6) gender factors or age, (7) social factors, (8) educational factors. From these results it can be concluded that there are 6 types of language varieties that appear among the kolong pigeon hobbyists in the Kalibagor District, Banyumas Regency, and there are 8 factors that influence the occurrence of language diversity among pigeon hobbyists
