This study is entitled Acculturation in the Architecture of the Jami PITI (Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association) Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque Building and the Socio-Economic Impact on the Selaganggeng Village Community. The objective of this study is to reveal (1) the history of PITI as the founding institution of the mosque, (2) The forms and meanings of Chinese symbolic domination in the architecture of the mosque, (3) The social and economic impacts on the Selaganggeng village community after the founding of the mosque. This study uses historical methods which use the following steps: (1) Heuristics or searching for historical data by means of observation, (2) Criticism or document verification, (3) Interpretation consists of mentifacts, socifacts, artifacts, and (4) Historiography or presenting a report from beginning to end. The approach used in this research was the sociology and areology. The results of this study are:(1) the PITI Jami Mosque was firstly established under the auspices of the PITI organization which is an inter-religious organization consisting of different ethnicities, namely Indonesian Muslim ethnicity and Chinese Muslim ethnicity. (2) The Jami PITI Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque building is dominated by Chinese architecture which is manifested by the use of yellow and red colors and the use of ornaments such as Ukel, Meander and Swastika motifs, (3) The socio-economic impact on the people of Selaganggeng Village is to increase empowerment the economy towards the welfare stage and creating social interaction in the community around the mosque.
