Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of compensation and leadership style on organizational commitment and to determine whether job satisfaction is able to mediate compensation and leadership style on organizational commitment in PERUMDAM Purbalingga employees. The population in this study were all employees of PERUMDAM Purbalingga. The sample used in this study were 112 out of 155 employees using the cluster random sampling technique. Statistical testing and data processing were carried out with data analyzed using the Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) method. The results showed that: 1) compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 2) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 3) compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, 4) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction . significant influence positive significant effect on organizational commitment, 5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, 6) job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of compensation on organizational commitment, 7) job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of compensation on organizational commitment. influence of leadership style on organizational commitment. The results of testing the coefficient of determination (R2) which shows that the effect of compensation, leadership style, job satisfaction on organizational commitment is 59.8%.
