Contract Change Orders (CCO) are requests for contract changes which
will later be used as power of attorney to change the scope of work. This study
aims to determine the dominant factors that cause Contract Change Orders
experienced by contractors and to determine the impact caused by Contract
Change Orders on construction projects in Cilacap Regency. This research uses
Quantitative method. This research is aimed at contractors who are registered as
members of GAPENSI (Indonesian National Construction Implementers
Association) in 2022 with intermediate qualifications in the Cilacap Regency
Region. Data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistical Product and
Service Solution) computer program, namely by testing validity, reliability and
descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the dominant factor
causing Contract Change Orders (CCO) experienced by contractors in
construction projects in Cilacap Regency is the factor of planning errors and
volume estimation with a mean value of 3.88 with a percentage of 6.89% while the
biggest impact is from Contract Change Orders (CCO) on the productivity of
construction projects in Cilacap Regency, namely causing an extension of the
implementation time with a mean value of 4.12 with a percentage of 13.65%.
