Abstract

The flow rate used in the last 4 months in Penusupan Village, Randudongkal District shows different amounts. From this condition, it is possible that the amount of flow discharge lost is quite large, one of which is the result of energy loss when the water flow is distributed. In this study, the authors analyzed the energy loss in the clean water distribution network system in Penusupan Village, Randudongkal District. The analysis carried out is the analysis of energy loss due to friction in the pipe, analysis of energy due to bends in the pipe, and analysis of energy loss due to changes in cross section. The results of calculations carried out The largest energy loss due to friction in the pipe is located on the k pipe section of 21.483 m with a pipe length of 155 m and the lowest energy loss is located on the s pipe section of 0.263 m with a length of 55 m. The largest energy loss due to bends in the pipe is located at an angle of 90° of 132,953 m and the smallest energy loss is located at an angle of 45° of 1,130 m. The energy loss due to the enlargement of the cross-section is 0.023 m. The energy loss due to narrowing of the cross section is 2,636 m.
