Abstract

Difficulty in implementing a suitable learning model to be applied to the learning process. Although teaching and learning activities have been described by educators, there are still many children who are not creative enough to take part in teaching and learning activities as a result, the value of children's development is felt to have not reached the goal. The learning model applied is the cooperative learning method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method to shape the character of PAUD KB Purnama Somawangi Banjarnegara students. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects are the principal and PAUD KB teacher Purnama Somawangi. The data collection methods required are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, verification, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of learning activities using the cooperative learning method went well and was very effective in shaping the character of PAUD Purnama Somawangi KB PAUD students. The characters formed include responsibility, cooperation, independence, curiosity and assertiveness. First, the responsibility skills possessed by students can be demonstrated through the student's desire to complete the tasks given by the teacher. both Responsibilities skills. The three independent skills can be seen from students trying to complete their tasks without the help of teachers and parents. Fourth, curiosity is shown by students always actively asking things that are not understood and understood to the teacher. The five assertive skills are shown through giving each other information.
