Abstract

The use of multimedia in the learning process plays an important role in developing new interests in students. Thus, learning media can increase students' learning motivation. Therefore, teachers must be able to choose and use learning media that are in accordance with the learning process, taking into account the learning objectives to be achieved, the teacher's pedagogic insight, the content of the material, the strategies and learning methods used. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of multimedia learning tools to increase students' learning motivation in fiqih subjects at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.
The use of multimedia in the learning process plays an important role in developing new interests in students. Thus, learning media can increase students' learning motivation. Therefore, teachers must be able to choose and use learning media that are in accordance with the learning process, taking into account the learning objectives to be achieved, the teacher's pedagogic insight, the content of the material, the strategies and learning methods used. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of multimedia learning tools to increase students' learning motivation in fiqih subjects at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.
The results of this study indicate that there are two types of learning tools used in MTs, namely software learning tools and hardware learning tools. The software learning tools at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto are using mobile phones and laptops. While the hardware learning devices (Hardware) are using power points, laptops, LCDs, whiteboards, printed books, worksheets, markers and also there are teaching aids for learning such as practice. Students at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto have high motivation, including: Diligent in facing tasks, Tenacious in facing difficulties, Prefers to work independently and Enjoys finding and solving problems.
