Abstract

The gallery walk method is one of the Active Learning learning models. Active Learning learning model is a form of learning process that emphasizes students to move actively as learning subjects, namely students hear, see, ask questions, and discuss one learning material. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the gallery walk method in increasing student interest in learning in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Minhajut Tholabah in the 2021/2022 academic year.
The research approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research is classroom action research with data collection techniques of observation, post-test, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis to describe the state of increasing success indicators for each cycle and to describe the success of learning through the Gallery walk method.
This study shows that the use of the Gallery walk method for learning Aqidah Akhlak subjects that have been carried out at MTs Minhajut Tholabah Bukateja from 37 students in class VIII B is declared to be able to increase student interest in learning in the Aqidah Akhlak subject, this is evidenced after carrying out the learning process using the Aqidah Akhlak method. Gallery walk by looking at the increase in interest in learning and on the results of the Post Tests that have been carried out by students during the implementation of cycle I to cycle II.
