Abstract
This research aims to assess the traffic performance on Komisaris Bambang Suprapto Street, Purwokerto Timur, Banyumas Regency. The research was conducted using a survey method. The research population was the length of Komisaris Bambang Suprapto Street (800 meters). The sampling techniques used in this research were purposive sampling and incidental sampling. The purposive sampling technique was used to determine the length of the street research (200 meters) because there were many shops and vehicles parking on Jalan Komisaris Bambang Suprapto. Meanwhile, the incidental sampling technique was used to determine the data of vehicle volume and side friction. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data were obtained using the observation techniques and analyzed using matching method. Here are the results of traffic performance research on Monday, May 11 2020 the maximum vehicle volume occurred at 03: 01-04: 00 pm at 1,642.4 pcu / hour, the side friction was 783.1 sf / hour (including in high (H) side friction class), the road capacity 2,461.25 pcu / hour, and the degree of saturation was 0.66 (included in the category C of service level). Here are the results on Thursday, May 14, 2020, the maximum vehicle volume occurred at 03:01-04:00 pm at 1,861.6 pcu / hour, the side friction was 915.7 sf / hour (including in very high (VH) side friction class), the road capacity was 2,293.44 pcu / hour, and the degree of saturation was 0.81 (included in the category D of service level). And here are the results on Sunday, May 17, 2020 the maximum vehicle volume occurred at 01:01-02:00 pm at 1,393.7 pcu / hour, the side friction was 837.5 sf / hour (included in high (H) side friction clas), the road capacity was 2,461.25 pcu / hour, and the degree of saturation was 0, 56 (included in the category C of service level). Based on the results of the traffic performance on Komisaris Bambang Suprapto Street, it can be concludedthat the side friction is included in the high (H) class and the degree of saturation is included in the category C of service level with a note that the current is stable, but the speed and movement of the vehicle is controlled.
