Abstract

This is a Research and Development research that aims to produce a valid product of Mathematical Test Instruments of an Islamic secondary school Based on the Ethnomathematics on Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School 2 Benda on the topic of geometry transformation for class IX. The development model in this study adopts the 4-D Thiagaradjan, and Semmel & Semmel model which consists of four stages; (1) Define; (2) Design; (3) Develop; and (4) Dessiminate. The results showed that the level of validity of the Ethnomathematical-Based Mathematical Test Instrument of the Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School 2 Objects received the "valid" criteria with an average value of validators I, II, and II of 3.825. In addition, the teacher's response to the development of the Ethnomathematics-Based Mathematical Test Instrument of the Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School 2 Benda indicates that the Mathematics Test Instrument "helps" learning by showing an average questionnaire score of 4. The average student response of 90% indicates that the Mathematics Test Instrument Ethnomathematics-Based MTs Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School 2 Objects are considered interesting so this instrument is valid, practical, and deemed effectively used in the learning process
