This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Religious Attitude, Family Economic Stratification, Organizational Background on the Decision to Choose a Muhammadiyah Cadre Scholarship Program for Students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.
This type of research uses a combination method (Mixed methods research) model of the order of discovery of quantitative and qualitative analysis (Sequential Explanatory). The research subjects were students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion with a sample of 30 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program.
The results of this study show. 1) There is no influence of religious attitudes on decision-making to take cadre scholarships as evidenced by the value of tcount (1.528) < ttable (1.701), with a p-value of 0.138, where the p-value is greater than alpha 0.05. 2) There is no effect of Family Economic Stratification on decision making to take cadre scholarships, as evidenced by the value of tcount (- 2.063) > ttable (1.701) where the p-value is smaller than alpha 0.05. 3) There is no influence of organizational background on decision making to take cadre scholarships, as evidenced by tcount (1.043) > ttable (1.701) which means that it has no effect where the p-value is greater than alpha 0.05. The strongest reason for students to take cadre scholarships is because of the family's economic stratification. Then students who received scholarships from Muhammadiyah cadres were active in autonomous organizations at UMP.
