This study discusses the relation of meaning in Jemmy Pirans Wanita Bermata Gurita novel. The purpose of this study was to describe the relation of meaning in Jemmy Pirans Wanita Bermata Gurita novel. This was a qualitative descriptive research. The data were words containing meaning relations in Jemmy Pirans Wanita Bermata Gurita novel 2020. The source of the research data was which published by Laksana in 2020. The data collection was carried out using observation method and note-taking technique. Then, the data analysis was carried out by using distributional method with the replacement technique and the expansion technique. In addition, the researcher used informal method for the data display. The result showed that the relation of meaning was in the form of synonyms and antonyms. It did not cover homonymy, homophony, homograph, hyponymy and hypernym, polysemy, ambiguity, and redundancy. There were also structural tactics found, namely repetition, asidenton, parallelism, anaphora, and hyperbole. Meanwhile, the structural tactics that were not found included metaphor, allegory, metonymy, and synecdoche. In addition, there were some figures of speech, namely personification and simile. Yet, it did not include polysidentons, litotes, paradoxes, irony and sarcasm.
