The study entitled Semantic Changes in the Laut Berceria Novel by Leila S. Chudori aimed to describe changes in the meaning of the association types and the factors that cause changes in meaning in the Laut Bercerita novel by Leila S. Chudori. The method covered three parts; data collection, data analysis methods, and methods of result presentation. In data collection, the method used was the listening method with the note-taking technique as the follow-up technique. In analyzing the data, comparative and distributional methods were used. In the comparative method, the basic technique used was the dividing-key-factor technique (PUP) and then the equalizing technique (HBS). The basic technique in the distributional method is the dividing-direct-element (BUL). In presenting the results, the method used was the informal method. The results of this study indicated that there were several data found in the Laut Bercerita novel by Leila S. Chudori which experienced changes in the semantic association and the factors causing changes in meaning that occurred in the Laut Bercerita novel by Leila S. Chudori, namely (1) science and technology development, ( 2) social and cultural development, (3) differences in usage, (4) associations, (5) exchange of sensory responses, (6) differences in responses, (7) grammatical processes, (8) development of terms.
