Abstract
This research was compiled by Doko Harwanto with the title Development of Interactive Social Sciences Teaching Materials for Spatial Interaction Materials for ASEAN Countries Assisted by Google Workspace for Education aims to: (1) Develop interactive social studies teaching materials assisted by Google Workspace for Education on the material for the Spatial Interaction of ASEAN Countries, (2) Testing the feasibility and validity of developing interactive IPS teaching materials assisted by Google Workspace for Education on the Spatial Interaction materials of ASEAN Countries, (3) Measuring the effectiveness of learning with interactive IPS teaching materials assisted by Google Workspace for Education on the Spatial Interaction materials of ASEAN Countries in class VIIIF SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with stages including: (1) Potential and Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Design Revision, (6) Trial Products, and (7) Data Analysis and Reporting. The results of this study are: (1) Compilation of Interactive Social Studies Teaching Materials assisted by Google Workspace for Education on standardized ASEAN Countries Spatial Interaction material, (2) The feasibility level of the material aspect is 4.76 with the Very Appropriate category and the media aspect is 4, 39 in the Very Eligible category. Meanwhile, the level of validity of the material aspect is 95.15% in the Very Valid category and the media aspect is 87.79 with the Very Valid category, (3) The product effectiveness level produces a t test value of tcount = - 5,250 < ttable of 1,697 with = 0.05 dk = 32. Because the results of tcount < ttable, it can be said that the application of Interactive Social Studies Teaching Materials assisted by the Google Workspace for Education application is effective in increasing understanding of the Spatial Interaction materials of ASEAN countries. In other words, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the decision above provide very strong information that the use of interactive social studies teaching materials assisted by Google Workspace for Education is effective in increasing students' understanding of the ASEAN Countries' Spatial Interaction material for class VIIIF students of SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara in the 2021/2022 academic year.
