This research was aimed for revealing the problems in learning English using online class encourage by the 11th grade students’ of SMA Padamara, Purbalingga, Central Java during the Covid-19 Pandemic. A survey method was employed in that Quantitative-qualitative research. This research was conducted from April to July. This research sample involved 20% of the population of the grade 11th grade students’ of SMA N 1 Padamara, selected using a random sampling technique hence. The sample was 61 students’. Questionnaire and interview were used as the instruments for collecting data. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that some students’ encountered problems when learning English through online sessions, the results of interview analysis were used to support the results of the questionnaire and find out students' expectations in learning in the future. simply suggestions based on the scholars are used to provide suggestions for problems.
