This study aims to examine the effect of CAR, LDR, BOPO, and company size towards profitability with Non-Performing Loan as moderation variable. The subject of this study was conducted at conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are taken from secondary data which is bank annual report during 2016-2018. The data collection technique used in this study was purposive sampling, data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The analysis showed that CAR and company size has a significant positive effect on profitability, while LDR has no significant positive effect on profitability, and BOPO has a significant negative effect on profitability. Non-Performing Loans are able to moderate CAR and LDR to profitability, while Non-Performing Loans are not able to moderate BOPO and company size to profitability.
