Pulosari District is one of the areas in Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province which is located on the northern slope of Mount Slamet with limited health services. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the number of plants and how to use the body as traditional medicine to treat digestive system disorders by the people of Pulosari District, as well as identifying the typical medicinal plants in the Pulosari District. This type of research is a descriptive study using a survey method. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews. The results of the study from a total of 15 respondents noted that 48 types of plants consisting of 27 tribes were used as traditional medicines to treat digestive system disorders including canker sores, dysphagia, GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcers, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and intestinal inflammation by the people of the District. Pulosari. The most numerous tribes were Zingiberaceae (17%), Poaceae (10%), Pabaceae and Myrtaceace respectively (6%). The processing method is by pounding and then brewing warm water (38%) and boiling (29%). Most use is done by drinking (75%). It can be concluded that the use of plants as traditional medicine for digestive system disorders in Pulosari District, Pemalang Regency is the Zingiberaceae tribe, the method of processing is by pounding and how to use it by drinking.
