This study aims to describe the types of language styles based on the sentence
structure used by a Youtuber named Deddy Corbuzier on his YouTube channel
uploaded in October 2019. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative
research. The data in this study are Deddy Corbuzier's utterances which contain
language styles based on the sentence structures. The data source in this study was
videos uploaded by Deddy Corbuzier on his YouTube channel in October 2019. At the
data collection stage, the researchers used observation and note-taking techniques. The
observation technique was carried out by listening/watching the videos. The data
which were listened to was spoken language, namely Deddy Corbuziers utterances on
his youtube channel uploaded in October 2019. In this note-taking technique, the
researcher records speech which contains a language style based on the sentence
structure. The language styles found in this study are climax, anticlimax, parallelism,
antithesis, epizeuxis repetition, epistrophe repetition, mesodiplosis repetition, and
epiclastic repetition.
