Abstract

The study was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Cibangkong, Banyumas regency. It aimed to determine how teachers implemented instructional video as the learning media in remote learning on the subject of mathematics. Based on the observations, most of the students were enthusiastic during the teaching-learning process. It was a qualitative study and the validity of the data was tested using triangulation. The data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation testing was carried out using data triangulation and technique triangulation. The results indicated that implementing video as the learning media in remote learning was able to help the students during the learning process. Its implementation has been going well so that most students could take the remote learning. There were several steps to implement the video as the learning media. First, the video was shared by the teacher. Then, the teacher explained how to use the video as the learning media and asked the students to watch it carefully. Next, the students should take some important notes related to the materials. Finally, the teacher gave assignments. There were also several supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation of the video as the learning media.
