The spiritual intelligence of the 6-8 years old santri can be enhanced if applying the tikrar method of repeating scripture by 20 times repeated by providing an interpretation for understanding the content of a memorized Qur’an scripture using an indicator of spiritual intelligence. The study aims to know the traditional effectiveness of the Qur’an through tikrar tafsir method of increasing the spiritual intelligence of a 6-8 years old santri putri in Rumah Qur’an Iftitah Purbalingga.
The experimental sample removal technique uses an impressive sampling. Research 10 subjects 6-8 years old santri putri in Rumah Qur’an Iftitah Purbalingga. Data collected using the instrument scale of spiritual intelligence with the treatment given by the tikrar tafsir method. Research shows that memorized Qur’an through the tikrar tafsir method is effective in increasing spiritual intelligence is proven by the increase in mean value in the pre-test of 16,1 and post-test of 25,3 with a 9,2 average difference. From the results of the data analysis using t-test technique the value is from p = 0,000 (p<0,05). That value implies that there is a significant influence on the difference in treatment given to each variable.
