Abstract
Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto is one of the private universities in Banyumas Regency. The number of facilities required the delivery of information about these facilities. The development of communication technology that is currently developing has a tremendous impact. Smartphone communication tools are increasingly being used, these technological advances can help everyone in finding information about the location and address of a place that is difficult to find when needed. One technology that is currently popular among the public is Augmented reality (AR) technology which combines real conditions with virtual objects into a single unit. This technology has been widely used in various fields of life. The use of AR in an effort to introduce the UMP building is very efficient for students and the community. The research method used to develop the Augmented reality application for the introduction of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Building is the Waterfall model until the system testing stage. This application uses the Markerless system AR.JS library which is able to display objects based on coordinates in a real environment with the help of a smartphone. The final result of this research is an application that provides information related to the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto building via a smartphone that is directed directly to the building object that you want to know the information about.
