Implementation is the act of a plan that has been carefully prepared and detailed.
The implementation is carried out if there is good and mature planning or a plan
that has been drawn up in advance. A curriculum is an important tool in ensuring
the success of an educational process. It means that without a good and
appropriate curriculum, it will be difficult to achieve the expected goals and
objectives. The research objectives were to (1) examine the role of schools in the
implementation of online learning in curriculum 2013 in grade X of SMA Negeri
1 Petanahan, (2) to study the implementation of online learning from the
perspective of curriculum 2013 to increase interest in learning History subject,
and to (3) examine the constraints of the implementation the online learning. The
research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Petanahan. The social sciences research
method was used in this study. Apart from the case study, there were several
methods such as experiments, surveys,historical and documentary information
analysis (as in economic studies). The results showed that the students' interest in
history was quite high based on the distribution of questionnaires. There were a
hundred and eight students as respondents. From the distribution of the
questionnaire, the results obtained that there were 21% of valid results and 11%
invalid ones. Google Classroom, Edmodo, Moodle, Microsoft Office 365 were
used as the supporting media in online learning.
