Abstract
This study aimed to determine the school's strategy in habituation to English in daily activities, to determine the supporting factors for the success of English habituation and the inhibiting factors for English language habituation at SD Muhammadiyah Surusunda. This study was a descriptive qualitative conducted from April to July 2020.

The data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then the data on school principals, teachers, and students were analyzed. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself. This study implemented research with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. anned strategy for the success of students in communicating English every day at school. The existence of teacher training in English, the principal's policies, and the rules and obligations of speaking English in schools were supporting factors for the implementation of English in schools. Lack of technology supports, fear, and level of self-confidence in students were the inhibiting factors for the less optimal implementation of English at SD Muhammadiyah Surusunda.
