This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on work engagement on Y motorcycle sales dealers in Purwokerto. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant effect of work stress on work attachments to motorcycle sales dealers Y in Purwokerto.
In this study, the subjects were 70 sales of motorbike dealers Y in Purwokerto. The measuring instrument used in this research is the work stress scale and the work engagement scale. On the work stress scale, the validity test results moved from 0.250 to 0.676 and the reliability coefficient was 0.889. On the work engagement scale the results of the validity test move from 0.247 to 0.693 and the reliability coefficient is 0.899.
Based on simple linear regression analysis, it is found that work stress has a significant effect on work engagement at Y motorcycle sales dealers in Purwokerto. Work stress has an effect of 70.9% on work attachments.
