Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically test foreign ownership, profitability, and leverage on corporate social responsibility. The population in this study are the main board energy sector companies, which are 111 companies. The research sample was 51 companies with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, normality test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25 program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that foreign ownership has no effect on corporate social responsibility, profitability has a positive effect on corporate social responsibility, and leverage has no effect on corporate social responsibility.
