Abstract

Self-confidence is the basis of self-motivation to succeed. To be motivated a person must be confident. Someone who gets calm and self-confidence must want and be self-motivated. Self-confidence is a person's belief and attitude towards his abilities in himself by accepting what is, both positive and negative, which are formed and learned through the learning process with the aim of his own happiness. aims 1). Describe and analyze the stages or processes of Islamic religious guidance in increasing children's confidence in the Al-Falah Purbalingga orphanage carried out by the manager 2). Describe and analyze the inhibiting and supporting factors that affect the lack of confidence in children at the Al-Falah Orphanage Purbalingga
This research is a field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Researchers try to solve existing problems based on data which is then analyzed. The subjects of this study were orphanage children aged 12-15 years and religious teachers at the Griya Al-Falah Orphanage Purbalingga. The techniques used in collecting research data are observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive analysis is a method of analysis that tends to use words to describe (descrable) phenomena or data obtained. Through the steps of collecting data, analyzing data, and interpreting existing data, with the inductive method, namely conducting an analysis based on the data obtained so that conclusions can be drawn.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious guidance in increasing children's self-confidence is carried out in stages with various activities including motivation, memorizing short letters, khithobah in front of friends followed by training in front of the general public. The application of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects is a consideration to increase self-confidence. Religious guidance with children's self-confidence is very directly related. Religious guidance activities can also provide opportunities for children to dare to speak, express their ideas and ideas, and dare to appear in front of friends and other people. This is part of the process to develop children's potential.
