This research was conducted to: (1) determine the effect of student discipline
on social studies learning achievement of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2
Kedungwuluh Kidul. (2) Knowing the effect of parental attention on social studies
learning achievement of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kedungwuluh Kidul.
(3) Knowing the effect of student discipline and parental attention on social studies
learning achievement of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kedungwuluh Kidul.
This research method uses quantitative research methods using regression
analysis. Collecting data using student discipline questionnaires and parental
attention, while achievement data is taken using Social Studies Mid-Semester
Assessment Score. The first and second hypothesis tests use simple regression
analysis, while the third hypothesis uses multiple regression analysis. The results
of the study are: (1) There is a significant effect of student discipline on social
studies learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Kedungwuluh
Kidul, with the regression equation Ŷ = 20.879 + 0.802X1 with a correlation
coefficient of 0.882 and a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.779. (2) There is a
significant effect of parental attention on social studies learning achievement of
fourth grade students of SDN 2 Kedungwuluh Kidul, with the regression equation
Ŷ = 20.272 + 0.804X2 with correlation coefficient = 0.873 and coefficient of
determination R2 = 0.762. (3) There is a significant effect of student discipline and
parental attention on social studies learning achievement of fourth grade students
at SDN 2 Kedungwuluh Kidul, with the regression equation Ŷ = 12.661 + 0.472X1
+ 0.441X2 with a correlation coefficient of 0.936 and a coefficient of determination
R2 = 0.876.
