The aim of this research was to find out the information about students‟ responses after having presentation and joining discussion in their reading classes of the 6th semester of English Language Education Study Program in Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto in academic year 2020/2021. The method of this research was quantitative research. The sampling technique in this research was total sampling. The sample of this research was 70 students who are defined in 3 classes; 6A, 6B and 6C. To obtain the data, the researcher used two instruments; observation and noting. Based on the data obtained, the researcher concluded that students of the 6th semester of English Language Education Study Program in Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto in academic year 2020/2021 have many responses in Reading Class. The result of the questionnaire showed that the students were active during the class presentation and discussion. They responded to the presentation and discussion by giving appreciation, posing questions, providing feedback, giving critics and reward, and thanking.
