The coronavirus pandemic has hit all corners of the world, including Indonesia,
experiencing this impact, such as the MSME sector, which has a lot of bad loans
affecting banking health. However, with quick steps, the government issued POJK
Regulation Number 48 of 2020 regarding credit restructuring. The purpose of this
study is to identify and analyze the settlement of non-performing loans in banking
during the pandemic after the enactment of POJK RI No.48/Pojk.03/2020
concerning National Economic Stimulus as a Countercyclical Policy Impact of the
Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 and to find out the obstacles banks face after
implementing the POJK. The research method used is normative juridical, sourced
from secondary data accompanied by identification and clarification of legal facts.
The results of this study: The settlement of bad loans at Bank Gunung Slamet
during the pandemic under POJK Number 48 of 2021: Postponement of
Installments (Relaxation); Rescheduling; Selling collateral or liquidation. The
obstacles faced by Bank Gunung Slamet are as follows: Debtors do not apply for
restructuring to the bank; then the debtor does not meet several criteria determined
by the bank for credit relaxation; On average, these debtors have a wrong
perception
