Abstract

The application of the learning model is one of the main factors in the learning process. Implementation is an engineering system. The word implementation boils down to the activity, the action, action or mechanism of a system. Learning is a process to help students learn well. The learning process can also be interpreted as a series of interactions between students and teachers in order to achieve their goals, or learning is a process of teaching students.
This study aims to find out how the implementation of the PAI learning model during the pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga City, what factors were supporting the process of implementing the PAI learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga City, and what factors became an obstacle to the implementation of PAI learning during the pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga City.
The type of research conducted by the researcher is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a type of research whose findings are not obtained through quantification procedures, statistical calculations, or other forms of methods that use numbers. The purpose of qualitative research generally includes information about the main phenomena explored in research, research participants and research locations.
The results of this study indicate that a smooth learning process is determined by several models, including the application of online learning and offline assistance because, during a pandemic, the learning process is used by teachers so that in delivering material to students, teachers can be facilitated to provide learning. At SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga in PAI lessons the teacher applies online learning (in the network). The supporting factor in the implementation of the online learning model (on the network) at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga is that the human resources at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga are quite good because both teachers and students are not technologically savvy (Technology stuttering), the infrastructure at SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga is quite ready in carry out online learning (on the network), and there is a free quota subsidy for students to carry out this online learning. The inhibiting factors faced are the lack of monitoring from parents, students' cellphones which are sometimes slow to access, and low memory capacity. Students tend to be lazy to listen to the material or do assignments. Economic factors are only 30% of most students.
