In the era of revolution 4.0 the use of technology is very important in all things,
one of which is in learning. Mastery of learning motivation and learning
achievement is very much needed in the 21st century, but the reality in the field is
that students' learning motivation and achievement are still low. The use of video
screencast o matic media is one solution to th. s problem. This study aims to
determine the effect of using video screencast o matic media on science learning
on learning mof.vation and learning achievement of fifth grade students of SD
Gugus Sudirman. The research method used is a quasi-experimental two group
posttest only design. The sample selection using cluster random sampling
technique for elementary school stude:pts, the research sample was obtained at
SDN 3 Parakancanggah, namely class V consisting of 16 students as the
experimental class, while for the control class, SDN 2 Parakancanggalh was
obtained, namely class V Gonsisting of 16 students. The data collection technique
used a questionnaire instrument to measure students' learning motivation and test
questions to measure student achievement. The data analysis technique used t-test.
The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a significant difference
between the experimental class and the control class, so it can be said that the use
of video screencast o matic media has a positive effect on science learning on
lea ing motivation and learning achievement of fifth grade students at Gugus
Soedirman Elementary School Banjarnegara
