Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which has paralyzed the education system around
the world did not escape Indonesia, which also felt the consequences so that in the
implementation process it was required to be done online, namely by means of
teachers providing material using online media such as WhatsApp, Google
Classroom, YouTube and so on. However, at the beginning of the implementation
of online learning, the teacher encountered problems or problems in delivering
material online. Researchers conducted research at SMK Muhammadiyah 2
Ajibarang because there were problems or problems experienced by the teacher.
The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of teachers of aqidah
morality and how to overcome the problems of online learning.
This research includes descriptive qualitative research. With the research
subject, namely the teacher of moral aqidah at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang.
This research method uses observation, interview, and documentation methods as
well as data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and data
verification.
The results of this study indicate that the problems of teachers of aqidah
morality in the implementation of online learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2
Ajibarang, namely the teacher is difficult to monitor the condition of students
when learning takes place and the economic condition of most of the parents of
students are middle class, of course, it can cause students to find it difficult to
participate in learning every time. online. The way to overcome the problems of
online learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang is by providing assistance in
the form of internet quotas to students so that students can easily take part in
online learning while the efforts of teachers of Aqidah Morals subjects to
overcome the problems of online learning are by holding the implementation
offline classes or conducted face-to-face even though they are only conducted
once a week, of course, by adhering to strict health protocols and the
implementation of offline learning for no more than 3 hours. Of course, offline
learning is carried out with a limited number of students to prevent the danger of
Covid-19 from occurring.
