The emergence of COVID-19 which has infected almost the entire world has changed many aspects, one of which is learning that is currently being done online. This research aimed to figure out the impact of studying from home during the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of early childhood. This research was a case study with a single holistic case study design(a case study including more than one unit of analysis).
The research data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research were early childhood with assistance from their parents. The research data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data compilation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there was an impact of conducting online learning at home during the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of early childhood.
The impact was the emergence of negative emotional expressions such as anxiety and fear. The children's social interaction was disturbed due to the anxiety about the bad issue of the Covid-19 pandemic. Besides, they had fear of the social environment and meeting new people. In addition, the children often cried when they started to feel tired.
