The training was conducted due to the lack of parents' creativity in processing nutritious food menus as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which affects economic conditions. It was difficult for parents to select balanced nutritious food menus for their toddlers in an effort to prevent stunting. In order to solve the problem, the authors and the cadres of Integrated Services Post (Posyandu) conducted golden stimulation training activities.
This training was carried out through a discussion program using the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method which aimed to convey general knowledge about the nutritional menu for toddlers to prevent stunting. This was a Participatory Action Research (PAR) which aimed to provide skills on processing healthy food menus completed with the nutritional standards needed by toddlers. It was hoped that parents could be more creative when providing nutritious food menus at affordable prices.
Based on the results of the training, all activities were carried out well and participants were able to participate actively. The awareness of parents in making menus and serving them to their toddlers also emerged.
