Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy, lifestyle, financial attitudes, and social environment partially on financial behavior. The sample selection in this study was conducted by purposive sampling method. The population in this study are millennials who live in Banyumas Regency with the age of 20-39 years. This study used a sample of 101 respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistics, data instrument testing, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, model fit test and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis show that partially financial literacy, millennial financial attitudes, and social environment have a positive effect on the financial behavior of the millennial generation. Meanwhile, lifestyle does not affect the financial behavior of the millennial generation.
