This study aimed to determine the role of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in improving the discipline character at class X students in SMA Negeri 1 Bukateja where the discipline character was one of 18 character values that should be instilled to students. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Interviews, observation, and study documentation were used for data collecting techniques. Subjects studied were students, Civic teachers, Counseling teachers, school principals, and student representative deputy. The object of this research was Pancasila and civic education learning activities inside and outside the classroom relating to student discipline. Data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the role of the Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in improving the character of the discipline of the tenth grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Bukateja was to be a person of discipline of time, discipline to enforce rules, discipline of attitude, and discipline of worship.
