The website https://fida.ump.ac.id is an academic website based on WordPress Self-Hosted as Content Management System (CMS) was launched in 2016. The website is managed by Mrs. Hindayati Mustafidah, S.Si., M.Kom. who is a Lecturer in Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Science, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The purpose of making a website as course material for Informatics Engineering students. One of the problems is the website not indexed on Google Search Engine, so there are no visitors. This is proven through further searches through the Google Search Engine. Optimization technique to increase the volume of website traffic using the implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This type of research is conducted using qualitative research, with data collection methods by interviewing website administrator and making website observations on Google Search Engine. The SEO method that is applied uses 2 types, On-Page SEO (on the website) and Off-Page SEO (outside the website). The results showed that using the SEO method was proven to be successful in boosting website traffic organically on the Search Engine Result Page (SERP), reach 578 page view. This can be seen with the movement of traffic volume using the help of Google Search Console and Google Analytics tools which have been integrated with the website. The organic traffic that has been successfully increased is an indicator if the website can be found on Google Search Engines using related keywords.
