Abstract

21st century learning requires students to have three main skills, one of which is
Learning and innovations skills. Learning and innovation skills consist of 3 main
aspects, one of which is creativity. Creativity is defined as the ability to create
something, apply a new form, produce imaginative skills, or to make something
that already exists into something new. This study aims to measure the creativity
of science process skills (KPS) mastered by high school students in Banyumas
Regency. The research was conducted from August to September 2020. The
sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total of 392 students
consisting of 315 public high school students and 77 private high school students.
The sampling sites were SMA Negeri Rawalo (160), SMA Negeri Sokaraja (155),
SMAS Bruderan Purwokerto (40), SMAS Pesantren El-Madani Rawalo (10),
SMAS Jendral Soedirman Purwokerto (27). The data collection technique used
was a creativity test of science process skills, questionnaires and interview sheets.
The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative analysis and qualitative
descriptive analysis. The results showed that the measurement of KPS creativity
obtained an average value of 51 (less) on the test results and 2.57 (less) on the
questionnaire results. The details of each indicator are basic skills with an
average score of 59 (enough) on the test results and 2.6 (poor) on the
questionnaire results, processing / processing skills with an average score of 49
(insufficient) and 3 (sufficient) on the results. questionnaire, investigative skills
with an average score of 45 (less) on the test results and 2.5 (less) on the
questionnaire results. The results of the interview showed that the students had
less creativity in science process skills. The conclusion of this study shows that the
KPS creativity of high school students in Banyumas Regency is in the category
enough to less.
