The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of demography, locus of control, financial experience and financial literacy on student financial behavior. The sample of this research is active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, Jenderal Soedirman University and the Islamic Institute of Purwokerto, this sample consists of 104 active students with sampling using purposive sampling technique. The research data comes from questionnaires to respondents with a Likert scale and the analysis method used is multiple linier regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that gender has a negative and insignificant effect on financial behavior, income has no significant negative effect on financial behavior, locus of control has a significant positive effect on financial behavior, financial experience has a significant positive effect on financial behavior, and financial literacy has a significant positive effect on financial behavior.
