Acne is one of the health problems in the skin that is often experienced by many people. To cure acne, avocado leaf is used to be as an alternative antibacterial treatment because it has the content of flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins that have been known to effectively kill some bacteria such as Staphylococcus epidermis and Staphylococcus aureus. This study aimed to determine the antibacterial activity against Propionibacterium acnes and see if the extract of ethyl acetate leaves of avocado can be formulated into a peel off gel mask. Antibacterial activity testing was done through well diffusion method. The avocado ethyl acetate extract was obtained by maceration. Next, the extract was formulated into a gel peel off mask. The results showed that peel off gel mask extract of ethyl acetate extract of avocado leaves had antibacterial activity to against Propionibacterium acnes is 4,767 mm for F1, 5,44 mm for F2, 6,8 mm for F3. The largest inhibition zone was found in F3, peel off gel mask with 30% extract.
