Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the motion and song methods on the development of children's self-confidence in TK Aisyiah Gambarsari, Kemangkon Sub-district, Purbalingga Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a single case experimental method with an Applied Behavior Analysis (A-B-A) design. The design scheme of A-B-A is A1 = initial condition of the subject, B = intervention/treatment, and A2 = final condition of the subject. There were three children in this study. In this study, primary and secondary data were used as sources of information. Secondary data came from student biographies, school profiles, and supporting documents, while primary data came from direct observation. The data for this study was gathered through systematic observation and documentation. Visual ins are used to analyze the data. The data were analyzed using visual inspection techniques, with the results displayed in the form of tables and graphs, followed by a description of the data's evolution. The findings revealed that the motion and song strategies had an impact on the child's self-confidence, as seen by the increase in the assessment charts of subjects A, B, and C from the initial condition, intervention, and final condition. Subject A had a score of 5, intervention score of 12, and a final score of 18, subject B had a score of 5, intervention score of 11, and a final score of 17, and finally subject C had a score of 5, intervention score of 13, and a final score of 15. The results of the initial score before being given an intervention/treatment and the results after being given an intervention/treatment show that motion and song methods affect children's self-confidence, as evidenced by the results of the initial score before being given an intervention/treatment and the results after being given an intervention/treatment have a fairly stable increase, and the self-confidence behavior of the three subjects is improving at TK Aisyiah Gambarsari Kemangkon Sub-district, Purbalingga Regency.
