Problem that often arises when learning activities is, student dependence
on other students, so students only depend on students who are considered smart
in their study groups. In connection with these problems, it is necessary to
increase the communicative attitude of students in a study group, so that students
can express their opinions and contribute to a group, one of which is using Think
Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning. The subjects in this study were fifth
grade students of SD Negeri 2 Somawangi, with 28 students consisting of 16
female students and 12 male students. The results showed that there was an
increase in communicative attitudes of students by using Think Pair Share (TPS)
Cooperative Learning. This can be seen from the increase of 42% in the first cycle
to 75.29% in the second cycle, while the student achievement also increased with
an average value of 68.75 in the first cycle and 77.5% in the second cycle. This
shows that, Cooperative Learning Type Think Pair Share (TPS), can improve the
communicative attitude of students.
