This research was aimed to determine the process of applying mathematical
learning methods during the remote learning process on grade V SDN 03 Cihonje,
Gumelar District, Banyumas Regency. This is descriptive qualitative research that
provides a description of the situation through a narrative description. The subjects
in this research were the principal, teacher, and the fifth-grade students at SDN 03
Cihonje. The implementation of the learning method in mathematics remote
learning for the fifth grade in SDN 03 Cihonje was good enough. The learning
method used by the teacher was the demonstration, lecturing, question and answer,
discussion, and assignment method using learning applications such as Google
Classroom, Whatsapp group, and Zoom. The lack of an internet network and the
possession of devices to support remote learning were considered as the main
problem. Giving assignment to students were conducted as the solution. The
assignment was conducted by sending the material to students so there will a chance
for students to re-read it later on. Students who did not have the supporting device
were suggested to join other students to learn together.
