This research aimed to describe the correlation between self-efficacy and reading comprehension. The type of research used in this thesis is the type of survey research. The population of the research was students at SMK Bakti Purwokerto. There were 83 students as sample in this research. The sample was taken by using stratified random sampling. Furthermore, there were two variables in this research. The first one was self-efficacy (variable X) and the second one was reading comprehension (variable Y). The self-efficacy score was taken from the questionnaire whereas the reading comprehension was taken from reading test.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that the value r-count was 0.345 and p-value was 0.001. R-table and 83 sample (df: 83-2=81) in standard error 5% was about 0.2159, so the value of r-count > r-table and it was supported from p-value <0.05 (0.001 < 0.05), and then the research hypotheses (ha) was accepted, it means there was significant correlation between self-efficacy and reading comprehension in SMK Bakti Purwokerto.
